Characteristics
Masted Assembly offers serveral turret sizes of our own design and manufacture. The turrets are crown type, with live tools and with drive and fluid transmission only to the working tool.
These devices are adequate to achieve quick tool changes, avoiding unnecessary travels and without fisically separating the tool from the machining head. This feature offers great advantages in accuracy, reliability and process robustness for demanding high production-high accuracy processes.
The turret concept allows attaching multispindle heads or angled, which reduces the cycle time without the risk of a head to fall or a misaligned tool clamp during the thousands of tool changes that a high volume process is going to require.
Our turrets are designed to work with MQL or emulsion through the tool passage and they are internally air pressurized to avoid the dirt income. We offer several turret sizes and various spindle cartridges depending on the machining process requirements.
